The Board of Deputies has launched a major campaign to try to prevent the BNP winning seats at the forthcoming European Elections taking place on June 4th. The Movement for Reform Judaism strongly supports this campaign. The critical objective is to get people to vote as that is the way to ensure that the BNP do not succeed.

Henry Grunwald QC, out-going President of the Board of Deputies said: 'On June 4th 2009, the British National Party, the current incarnation of Mosley’s British Union of Fascists, is seeking election to the European Parliament. It plans to put up candidates in every part of the country. In some constituencies, they only need to secure 7.5% of the vote to get one MEP elected.'

It is vital that everyone who is registered to do so goes out to vote on June 4th as a high turnout makes it more difficult for the BNP to achieve its aims.

The simple question is, do you want to have “Your Voice or Theirs” representing you in Brussels?
