Over 40 people attended an Elmbridge Multi Faith Forum event held at North West Surrey Synagogue in Weybridge on Wednesday, February 18th.The occasion, entitled “Aspects of Judaism”, featured speakers who presented the faith from the Orthodox and Reform perspectives.

Pro-Zion AGM
 
Sunday, 29th March 2009. The Pro-Zion AGM will be held at Alyth Synagogue. Guest speaker from Israel will be Sarah Lewis, a lawyer from the Israel Religious Action Centre.  The title of the talk is 'Lawyer under Fire'; Sarah will be sharing her experiences of how the rockets fired on S'derot affected her work.

In particular, please join Tzedek and the JCC during Fairtrade Fortnight for a screening of Black Gold on Monday 2nd March. At the same time, the JCC will be launching A Jewish Guide to Fairtrade, a joint communal educational resource supported by the Movement which contains in depth background information, case studies, Jewish sources, information on how to purchase fairtrade products and ideas for actions that can be taken to spread the benefits of using Fairtrade products to your family, friends and community.
